win 10 anniv update hosed msvcr100.dll for adobe acrobat & seagate RRS feed

  • i have no idea how to fix this so i can use these again. i tried downloading the c++ visual studio for x64, but got error that i have a newer version on my system, so i cancelled out of the install. why am i having this dll issue after the update, and how do i fix it? (and without breaking anything else.)

  • Take a restore point if you are worried about making things worse so you can restore that if needed.

    Right click start choose Programs and Features, find the correct Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable in the list (2010  I believe) highlight it click uninstall. Reboot then try to install again. When installed run Windows updates with get updates for other Microsoft products to update it again.
