Storage Pool: disk located on a different server RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I have DPM 2K10 on a server.  Is it possible to add a disk for the storage pool from a different server?  When I go to Add..., the only disks available are ones on the same server as DPM 2K10 and theres no options to view the network and try to add a different destination.

    Thanks,

    Chris

  • Hi,

Only block level storage devices can be added to the DPM storage pool.  So that would mean locally attached disks, fiber attached SAN LUN, or Iscsi attached disk.
