  • The target group is unassigned computers from the log. Do you have the updates approved from the all computers top of the hierarchy?

  • Hello,

Based on the log, your client did not find any new updates need to install or download, only restored a previous download task.

If you have approved some updates to the clients, please check as following.

1> Make sure the address of WSUS server is correct.
2> Make sure you have approve updates for the correct computer group.
3> Check if the firewall block the communication.
4> Run following script in the elevated CMD on the affect clients and then check the result.

    net stop bits
    net stop wuauserv
    reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate" /v AccountDomainSid /f
    reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate" /v PingID /f
    reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate" /v SusClientId /f
    reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate" /v SusClientIDValidation /f
    rd /s /q "C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution"
    net start bits
    net start wuauserv
    wuauclt /resetauthorization /detectnow
    usoclient.exe startscan

Hope my answer could help you and look forward to your feedback.

    Best Regards,
    Ray
