If BIOS Settings is chagned from Legacy to UFEI, then Opeating system crash or not RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Windows 10 x64 Enterprise edition version 1803 is installed. BIOS is in Legacy mode. TPM version is 2.0. Unable to enable Bitlocker because BIOS mode is in Legacy. As per the below URL, BIOS settings should be in UFEI mode and Secure boot enabled.

If i change the BIOS settings from Legacy to UFEI, will the exsitsing Operating system boot? Is there any option avaiable make the Operating system to work if it crashes?

    Regards, Boopathi

  • Don’t worry, starting with the Creators Update(1703), the MBR2GPT tool enables you to change the partition style in minutes, and more importantly, in a non-destructive process
