  • Farhan,

As far as I know this is not possible. In project server certain columns are available in specific views.

If you choose to allow updates only from PWA, then you can pretty much guarantee that the actual hours will be the reported hours. Unless you use this method, you must create a report to see the information side-by-side.

We are using SEM and status is auto update and actuals are protected, Projects are auto published.

the user faces difficulties to enter the desire actuals finish of the task.

The only option left to complete the task (mark as 100%) is change the remaining work to 0.

only two view is enable for user viz one Project schedule & timesheet view both in PWA & MSP 2010.

whenever timesheet is recall and resubmitted (this is the frequent case in our org), the timesheet hours is not map correctly to that of actual work.

    Thanks

  • Then reporting is your only solution.

  • thanks for update.

Microsoft should also integrate timesheet data in Project Plan (schedule). This is will help the Project Manager to Plan the productivity for upcoming task in their Project.

Timesheet integration is available in all PM tools.

  • Farhan:

I agree that this could be much better! Recently Microsoft asked the MVPs what one thing would you change if you could. A number of us pointed to timesheets.
