    You should not have more than one Antivirus program on your PC. Uninstall the one you don't whant.

  • I don't recall seeing that precondition when I installed MSE. Did I miss it? Please provide the Microsoft link which stipulates what you said.

  • Hi!

    I'm sure it says somewhere on Microsoft site (and all the other AV vendors sites) that you should not have more that one AV product on a single PC. As you your self has experienced there will only be trouble. Most (if not all) of the AV products conflict in the way the work.

    Why would you want multiple AV on your PC anyway?

  • This is false positive detection that AVG acidently detect MSE component as Virus which is not. As preview people said you should NOT use more than one Anti-Virus in same PC, it would cause conflict and more problems such as what you have.
