But they just provide me some product keys on it... How can i activate it into the Terminal Server?

    Any idea?

1 in general ,w2019 rds cal need to be downgraded to w2008r2 rds cals then to activate them on w2008r2 RDLS server.
2 for retail rds cal ,we can try to contact expert in below website (bottom right corner "talk to expert")and check if they can help us to downgrade w2019 rds per user cal to w2008r2 rds per user cal ?

3 if they can't do that ,we can locate Microsoft Clearinghouse telephone number and check if they can downgrade w2019 rds per user cal to w2008r2 rds per user cal?
we can try to solve problem by Locating the Microsoft Clearinghouse telephone number when the license server is activated or not activated. In general they can help us indeed.

  • Hi,

go to the RDS Licensing Server and open the Licensing Manager. Here you can activate the licensing server and open the Licensing Wizard. Here you should be able to enter your keys as well as some additional company information.

I have done that before several years ago, the licensing wizard is pretty straight forward.

    regards, pat

  • Hi Pat,

The problem i'm facing right now, when I try to activate using the product key microsoft provided. the results is
"The license code contains invalid characters or not enough characters" via the Wizard.

When i try to activate it online,
    Result "Invalid License Code"

I purchased 2 sets of Windows Server Remote Desktop Services CAL 5 User

each has a product key on it.

    Thanks,

    James
