Exchange 2007 retention by date/time (delete anything older than 2 years) RRS feed

    I have a mail archiver setup and running and now would like to set a retention policy in Exchange 2007 to reduce all mailboxes to messages 2 years old or less.   Is there a way to do this.   I only see a way to reduce by mailbox size in MB or GB.

    I have no interest in setting up MRM.   We have an archiver appliance that keeps all emails - not just what the user thinks is important.

    I simply want to reduce the size of our live mailbox databases now that all emails are duplicated and are accessible from the archiver.

    I would like to simply set Exchange to delete all items older than 2 years in all mailboxes and keep it that way.   I haven't found a way to do it by date/time only by size.
