Have run from "Command Prompt" and through "Windows Powershell" with identical results - "source files could not be found".

Spent all day trying to update Windows 8 to 8.1 to upgrade to Windows 10. So far have not been able to do anything. Have run troubleshooter, tells me it fixed 2 files but same error messages repeatedly.

    (1) error 14098

the component store has been corrupted

    (2) windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations

    (3) error 0x800f0906

source files could not be downloaded

    (4) windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations

Have downloaded and run the stand alone Windows Update troubleshooter program to no avail. It continues to repair the same issues, but still results in the same errors.

Also attempted to install - Windows8-RT-KB2937636-x64/ "Update for Windows (KB2937636)" resulted in "failed to install".
