Approval center shows wrong data RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

We have a strange issue with our approval center. It's showing other hours than the ones that are submitted in the timesheets. For example:

Approval center (green is correct, red are things that should not be there)

What could be the reason of that?

The other way around. The approval center is showing 0h while there are actuals in the timesheet?

Is there some strange sync issue, or..?

  • If tasks are present in Approval center it means updates has been filed by resource. You can check same in Database.

have you enabled create a new task for team member so that they can create task from Timesheet, If this is a case then probably reosurce has creates task and filled the actual.

There is possibility to fill task actual from My task Page.

Or Accidentally Project owner has filled % complete for the unwanted  task which is showing data in approval center.

Also you should check the timehseet for that time period in which task updates are coming in Approval center.

Check the MPP plan for % complete may be some one filled task % completion because of this Timesheet is automatically having data.

Task updated on date 01/01/2014 for this open  resource'(kristen's) Timesheet for that period and check whether this task is a part of that timesheet or not as well as task actual present in timesheet..

  • This is the timesheet of Kristen. There is only one thing on 1/1/2014 (the 8h) .. but the approval center is showing other entries that are not related to 1/1/2014 (the things from 2/1 and 3/1).

Also, like for example "_Gebruikersondersteuning Fin. Processen" is available on the approval center for 1h. If you look at the timesheet, there is no entry?!

  • As an addition, this is the approval center for 6/01/2014, user Kristin.. That's completely different comparing to the timesheet of that user:

    Strange, no?
