Hello there,
the following problem is happening in Office Outlook 2016:
It's one Mail profile existent with one Microsoft Exchange Account added. Additionally there are two additional mailboxes added. For using these two additional mailboxes, the Exchange Account User has got full rights on the additional mailboxes.
The problem started with sending mails from the additional mailboxes and saving them under the "Sent Items" folder from the additional mailbox. The mails were sent correctly and arrived at the recipient, BUT they did not move from Outbox to Sent
Items Folder. They just kept staying in the Outbox folder.
If you disable caching of the additional mailboxes - so that they are in Online mode, they are moved correctly. But therefore you have a new problem, which is that if you search Emails in the MAIN Exchange Account you get results of the ADDITIONAL mailboxes.
If you search in the ADDITIONAL mailbox, you get results of the MAIN Exchange Account. When you activate the cache of the additional mailboxes again, the mails will not be moved correctly, but the search does work again.
Here's what was already tried:
- Repair Installation of Office (offline & online)
- recreation of the .ost files
- check consistency with scanpst of the ost files
- Check if latest updates of outlook are installed
- set the search scope of outlook manually over the registry
- Recreation of the Search index
- Search in OWA to test if the problem is Server or Client Based: Result -> Client based
Does anyone have additional ideas to solve the problem? Thanks in Advance for any suggestions
Additional Information: With Outlook 2010 the additional mailboxes AND search does work fine, just like it should!
