I am configuring SSTP VPN server with NPS and cannot make PEAP works.
I cannot connect with PEAP, but I can connect when switch back to EAP-MSCHAP v2.
The error message on client when I try PEAP is:
Error 812: The connection was prevented because of policy configured on RAS/VPN server. Specifically, the authentication method used by the server to verify username and password may not match the authentication method configured in your connection profile.
I used clients with Windows 7 and Vista.
I can use EAP-MSCHAP if it is the only Network Policy Authentication Method or it is set as first EAP Types before PEAP. If PEAP is before EAP-MSCHAP the same error happen even if client is configured to use EAP-MSCHAP not PEAP.
The following events error are created on server:
5061 System Integrity
6274 Network Policy Server
(Network Policy Server discarded the request ... Reason: An internal error occurred)
20255 RemoteAccess
(The connection was prevented because of a policy)
