  • You can use SharePoint Workflows and forms using Microsoft Office 365 F3 License.

Nintex Workflows and forms you need Office 365 Enterprise Edition only. you can't use Office 365 F3 License.

  • Hi ghsajith,

Yes, SharePoint Online Plan 1 and SharePoint Online Plan 2 comes under Office 365 Enterprise.

SharePoint Online Plan 1 is included in Office 365 Business Essentials, Business Premium and Enterprise E1. SharePoint Online Plan 2 is included in Office 365 Enterprise E3 and E5.

Here’s a reference about specific comparison.

  • It's very basic one below article will help you with the features it provides, you can compare E3, E5 & F3 feature from the article. I would say go for at least E3.

The fourth point it's talking about Stream.

Stream – Includes consumption only, no publish/share. Engage and inform with intelligent video, such as communications, meetings, or training!

  • The Tenant is already having E3 or E5 plan. I need to confirm it.

The client wants to have additional contractor licenses using Office 365 F3.

The  SharePoint Online site has SharePoint and Nintex Workflows & Forms.  Can this Office 365 F3 license support this ?

Does the contractor can submit  ninxtex and list forms ?

  • Hi ghsajith,

Go to Site Settings -> Add an app -> SharePoint Store -> Enter the “Nintex Workflow for Office 365” or “Nintex Forms for Office 365” in the search box -> Add it.

You should get a 30 days time-based trial license for Nintex and has access to all features including enterprise actions in this website. After your trial period ends, you will no longer be able to publish new workflows, or publish changes to any existing workflows. Contact the Nintex sales team to purchase a subscription license.

    Best regards,

    Emily Du

  • I am not mentioning about Nintex License. That is already there with the Client and the client users are having E3 License. No issue with these licenses.

The Client want to purchase additonal licenses for the 500 contractors. But they do not want to use E3 License. First preference is Office 365 F3 Plan due to price ($4 per month) or SharePoint Online Plan 1 and SharePoint Online Plan 2.

As per the above thread, Nintex Workflows and forms works with Office 365 Enterprise Edition only. Does SharePoint Online Plan 1 and SharePoint Online Plan 2 comes under Office 365 Enterprise Edition ?

    Please clarify and confirm
