getobjectproplist is not being called for default case in metadata service RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,
    We are trying to transfer a CAB file using the metadata service. However, as seen below,

    Command: GetObjectHandles (0x1007)

      TransactionId: 27

      Parameters:

        StorageID = 0x10004 (65540)

        [ObjectFormatCode] = 0x0 (0)

        [ObjectHandle of Association for which a list of children is desired] = 0xFFFFFFFF (-1)

    Timestamp: 10/13/2009 19:40:24.0359

    Data (from device, 8 bytes) - Object Handles:

      0x11111111

    Timestamp: 10/13/2009 19:40:24.0421

    Response: OK (0x2001)

      TransactionId: 27

    Timestamp: 10/13/2009 19:40:24.0468

    Command: GetObjectPropList (0x9805)

      TransactionId: 28

      Parameters:

        ObjectHandle = 0x11111111 (286331153)

        FormatCode = 0x0 (0)

        PropCode = 0xDC01 (56321)

        PropGroup = 0x0 (0)

        Depth = 0x0 (0)

    Timestamp: 10/13/2009 19:40:24.0906

    Data (from device, 16 bytes) - Array of object property values (1 items):

      Item 1 of 1:

           Object handle   = 0x11111111

           Property code   = StorageID (0xDC01)

           Data type       = UINT32 (0x6)

           Value           = 0x403043D8

    Timestamp: 10/13/2009 19:40:24.0968

    Response: OK (0x2001)

      TransactionId: 28

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
    0x11111111 is the objest handle for our metadata cab.
    the initiator(windows 7) is calling getobjectproplist only for DC01  and not the default(0x00) where we get the entire proplist for all propcodes. Because of this we are unable to transfer our cab file as the initiator is not sending the command.
    What caould be the reasons for this?
    regards,
    KK
