Moving a JavaScript driven form into SharePoint 2007 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Our department is making the move to SharePoint 2007.  I've been asked to move this form.  I can update the links in the code and then upload it as an HTML document and then simply add a link to it in SharePoint, but I'd rather it showed up as a SharePoint page instead of a standalone bit of HTML.  I created a basic page and added the code from the form page into a content editor webpart, but the editor promptly stripped the JavaScript and all the form code, too.  Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

  • Lets rule out the obvious first, did you paste the code into the Source Code view, not the RTF editor?

  • Yes, straight into source code view.  Actually, I just managed to make it work using the page viewer web part instead of the content editor web part.  Looks good.  Now we have to test it to see if it's still sending data to the database...

It does seem strange, though, that one can't build an asp/javascript form in SharePoint.
