Event Correlation in SCOM 2016 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is it possible to correlate event in SCOM 2016?

Scenario:- Say there are 10 servers connected to switch. If switch goes down then I should only receive alert for Switch down status not for servers.

    Kindly suggest.

    Thanks,

    Abhishek

  • Hi,

    Please refer to:

Maybe the Switch vendor has a management pack?

  • Hi Abishek

Our 3rd party solution Savision- Live Maps allows you suppress related alerts based upon Groups within Business Services. So you only receive 1 service level alert in a cascading alert storm.
