2nd (2003)Outlook Profile suddenly won't Send email..."Error is [0x80004005-00000000-00000000]." RRS feed

  • In some cases, Users need are setup with a 2nd Email Profile in their Outlook Properties.  For some reason, a couple of the secondary accounts stopped sending emails with the message:

                This message could not be sent. Try sending the message again later, or contact your network administrator.  Error is [0x80004005-00000000-00000000].

     

    If you turn off "cached mode," you'll receive a message that you to not have enough rights.

    When I create the secondary accts, I add the users access to the Mailbox under the Exchange Advanced Tab\Mailbox Rights and give them "Read Permissions" and "Full Permissions." 

    I tried adding full rights on the secondary acct's Security Tab for the user and still, no way I could send the email.

  • Looks to be something with one of our Exchange servers.  I moved the mailbox to another server and it works fine.
