Client Bandwidth and "Slow Network" threshold RRS feed

  • Question

  • Trying to determine how a client determines its speed threshold to qualify as "slow or unreliable".

We have some deployments that are failing and we believe it is due to insufficient bandwidth to client.  I can't find where this is threshold is defined.  I would imaging it safe to assume if the connection is less than 1Mb than it would be considered "slow" but wanted to confirm.

    thanks in advance,

  • All the client looks at is your boundaries. nothing more.

If it belongs to a boundary and the boundary is marked as fast, it is fast, if not then it is slow.
