Can't reconnect to windows 7 machine after disconnecting from remote desktop RRS feed

  • Question

  • Since June 14th 2019, about 5 computers whom have staff login from home through a VPN > Remote desktop to their windows 7 computer, can't re-login after a disconnect.

They login, do their work, disconnect, and if they try to reconnect to remote desktop it sits at configuring remote session and eventually throw the internal error has occurred. I then have to hard reboot the system in the office because the login screen has hung up. This is the same issue for all 5. I uninstalled any updates that happened in and around the time the issue first came up. To no avail. Any tips??

  • Hello Myron123,

Thank you for posting in this forum.

Is there a problem with the VPN connection? Can you successfully ping those machines? Can you access the shares on those machines?

    Best Regards,

    Leon
