Realtek Audio Driver RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have been getting this error ever since installation, I think its my fault for trying to install vista without wiping my system even though it is supposed to be able to do that.

The audio drive on your system is not designed for Windows Vista.  Please visit the website of your computer manufacturer or Realtek to download the audio driver for Windows Vista.

As I thought it would be easy to  fix I went to Realtek and they had a driver and it still hasnt fixed this.  I tried to let Windows find the driver and same problem still, I might just buy a sound card which is ridiculous due to the fact the audio worked fine on XP and I can still hear music, videos and effect on it now with Vista.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
