Hi, while doing search in outlook (Office 365) some option like, subject, from showing grayed. Please find attached screenshot of the outlook search option.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in the forum.
So the "Refine" section (From, Subject, Has Attachments, etc) under "Search" tab on the ribbon is greyed out.
Please go to:
Control Panel->Switch to "Large icons" view->"Indexing Options"->Click "Modify" button to open the "Indexed Locations" dialog
Make sure you have ticked the checkbox before "Microsoft Outlook", click "OK" and then restart Outlook to check the result.

In this case, Outlook uses Windows Desktop Search for the Instant Search feature. Most likely some configurations/programs on your computer is changing it in Windows.
Just monitor this and see if it will be unticked again. If yes, we might need to use Process Monitor to capture which exact process is changing it.
After enabling the index, restart your Outlook and try the search feature again, see if it will return the correct result.

Hi, awaiting for the solution for above issue.
Also facing one more problem in the same system while doing search some times it is correct some time incorrect. Please find attached screen shot of the same.
Facing lot of issues with the O365. Users system is also updated with latest version ie.
