Windows Crashing While... RRS feed

  • Question

  • My name is Colton. I've had this problem with my computer where it crashes while I am playing World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2, or any other high memory game. I've had the problem for a while and have asked many people, some say it's the memory or the power supply. I've checked all the memory and they're fine, they are also all the same speed, I recently upgraded my PS from a 650watt to an 1100 watt. I also occasionally get a blue screen error that says "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". I think that it means it's either my PCI-E slots, my video card, OS, or my hard drive. I've looked around on forums on many sites and people say it's one thing or the other and I try them, but to no avail. Also my hard drive doesn't have a brace to where the SATA cables connect and in the process of cleaning it, I did not know this at the time, I hit the cable and it snapped off the plastic holder for the SATA cable. I have the cable on there all the way and the problem was happening before hand. Here is what I'm running:

Intel Core 2 Extreme 2.8 GHz

    Nvidia EVGA GTS 250

    6G of 800Mhz RAM( i believe it is 800)

    Windows 7 Ultimate

    ASUS P5N-D Motherboard

I've had the computer for around 9 months I believe. All of my software is up to date and I've checked everything in the case to maximize airflow. I have a dual fan heatsink for the processor and have 6 fans on my case. The temp of the processor is 100-116 degree Fahrenheit and the system is around 90 degree Fahrenheit. I checked the manual for my processor and the temp is fine. I cannot think of anything this might be. Here's what it says in my event viewer:

  • Well I zipped the file using Winrar but the file is 69mbs so I still can't upload it to skydrive. :/ If there is something else I could do let me know, I know my way around computers and I'm going to college for Network Security. Any knowledge would help really lol. :)

  • Please try to do what is mentioned in this link to upload using Skydrive.

I need to read the dump files so if you are unable to upload them, please read the dump files and post here the output of the windbg.

    Will be back soon.

As small addition. SkyDrive only allows 50MB parts, so his 69MB file is too large. The user should use 7z and crate a file with a max size of 50MB and upload all parts.

You are right. Forgot this detail.

  • Okay after trying to figure out 7z I think I did it correctly. Had to split it into 6 parts to be able to upload it. http://cid-c36348b5b6589aa1.office.live.com/browse.aspx/.Public
