A question about a new installation RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello

We have an internal Windows 2012 R2 AD domain and we also has AAD Connect and therefore Azure Active Directory we also have AD FS (one replying party based application setup at this time).

We are looking at implementing AD RMS

At the moment we have on-premise Exchange 2010 we do not use Office 365

Initially the requirement for AD RMS will probably be to protect internal Outlook emails via IRM

However it may be that down the line we want to share RMS protected resources ( outlook generated email and attached office documents) with third parties outside of our kerberos realm.

I know there are several possible configurations depending on weather or not the third party currently has their own RMS infrastructure in place etc.

    However in general terms,

If we start of with Azure RMS premium, will this give us the greatest flexibility when it comes to sharing RMS protected content with third parties are a latter date?

also will Azure RMS premium work with our on-premise exchange 2010?

    Thanks

    Ernie
