  • i accidently uninstalled my girl friends realtek hd audio driver on windows vista this laptop has launguage formatted in portugese which i don´t understand and i need help reinstalling the sound driver thanks so much

  • Go to the computer's manufacturer web site, locate the Windows Vista compliant audio drivers for your PC, download them and install them; restart the PC and check to see if the audio section is working fine.

  • If there isnt a vista driver, you may be able to use an older one by installing it in compatibility mode.

    To Run in compatibility mode do the following:

    Right click the installer>properties>compatibility>chose OS
