  • HI,

i dont understand the ip adresses realy well:

    http://blog.msedge.org.uk/2010/04/recommended-network-card-configuration_14.html

1 have two nics 1 internal network static 10.x.x.x, and 1 to my public ip adresses 188.x.x.x , wich i get from my hosting company.

"At least two network interfaces must be configured with static IP addresses. Configure static IP addresses"
"The UAG DirectAccess server must be configured with two static, consecutive, public IPv4 addresses, on the Internet-facing physical interface.  Configure the IPv4 addresses and then try again."

1 dont get it:what am i doning wrong?

i followed the config in abpove link!

  • Hi soetie,

    What you need is:

Internally: one static IP adress on our internal network (based on your post, an example could be 10.0.0.50)

Externally: Two static and consecutive IPv4 adresses (based on your post, an example could be 188.1.1.50 and 188.1.1.51)

    Hope this answers your question,

    Best wishes,
    Jonas Blom
