How to get rid of login requests? RRS feed

  • Hi Guys,

    Can anybody provide the guidline..

    How to forewer get rid of login window which always pop-up when I am openning even home page in sharepoint?

    I add the site into list of tarsted web sites..

    I change the settings in IIS to anable anonimus access..

    What else I need to do?

  • Did you try enabling "Automatic logon using current user name and password" under the Local Intranet Zone security settings? 
     IE > Tools > Internal Options > Security > Custom level > logon.

    thanks for good reference! A lot of usefull information..

    But it is still not 100% clear what to do to get rid of it completelly.

    For eaxmple I want anybody in my local network to be able to access sharepoint page without entering login details

    What can I do on server side??

    I know it is ansecure but just in case of testing.

    May be there are issues with SP installetion. I have not install  it by myself.

    Are any treaks related to installetion?

    I ramember with 2007 you should login as domain user whe you running the setup.
