Is the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Original Language Pack still available? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey all,

I'm executing an Upgrade of SharePoint 2003 to SharePoint 2013 with the Chinese-Traditional language pack.

I've established 2 intermediary farms so that I can execute a Database Attach Upgrade.

I was able to locate the following Language Packs.

    • WSS 3.0 Language Pack (Chinese-Traditional)
    • WSS 3.0 Language Pack SP1 (Chinese-Traditional)
    • MOSS 2007 Language Pack SP1 (Chinese-Traditional)
    • SharePoint 2010 Language Pack (Chinese-Traditional)
    • SharePoint 2010 Language Pack SP3 (Chinese-Traditional)

I NEED: MOSS 2007 Original Language Pack (Chinese-Traditional)

My understanding is that to properly install a language pack to MOSS 2007 you must follow the installation order below:

    1. Install WSS 3.0 original language pack
    2. Install WSS 3.0 Language Pack SP1 (or other updates to match your farm patch level)
    3. Install MOSS 2007 original Language pack
    4. Install MOSS 2007 Language Pack SP1 (or other updates to match your farm patch level)

Is this the correct installation path?

If so, Can someone send me a valid download link for the MOSS 2007 original language pack?

  • Do you have access to MSDN?  The 2007 Language Pack is still available for download there.
