Error: Failed unregistering callback tracking connected process termination

Question
-
On my App-V 4.5 TS client the error message "[05/20/2009 10:31:55:966 SRVC WRN] {tid=2138}
Failed unregistering callback tracking connected process termination (error: 997)." is appearing in the sftlog.txt on the clients.
Does anybody know why this error is generated and what can be done about it?

Please report client version. Sounds like Microsoft should look at this one - especially if you are using CU1 since that has not been deployed to TS much yet.Wednesday, May 20, 2009 10:18 AMModerator

Hello,
Yeah, still using RTM + HFRU3. (and CU1 will probably not installed until late june...)

I'm using both TS Clients versions of App-V 4.5. In production we are using 4.5.0.1485 and in the test environment 4.5.0.15580. Both versions are reporting the same error in the log files.

Yes, I also noticed this sometime ago. Never looked in to it again. More people are having the problem:

Hello,
Test upgraded one server. Usually this appears at a refresh operation, and while still logged into console no error appeared.
As soon as I logged off and used a normal RDP-session - the error came back.

Hello,
Saw that the error is categorized as a Printer in the application log. Kinda funny..
No resolution yet...

Hi!
I get this too. I think this appears when you use the TerminateChildren option in the OSD files.
