Mouse Resolution too low at hightest setting RRS feed

  • Question

  • I run 8 monitors 1900 X 1200 res.  I need to move the cursor around all 8 with a 3 inch movement of the mouse, i.e.
a flick of the wrist.  As it is I have to move the mouse across the pad, pick it up and swipe it again and again to get
around all 8 monitors.  This with the resolution set to MAX.  If this cant be resolved, I won't be able to use
    Windows 7.  SORRY

  • Try setting it to the lowest possible instead so it travels further. Increasing the resolution makes it more precise which is great in drawing programs and others where you need the precision but you want speed instead.

  • Otherwise, what about setting the acceleration to the highest setting?

  • Also try to look into some 3rd party mouse drivers. Logitech Setpoint software, for example.
