Lync Outbound Call Failed RRS feed

  • Question

  • I suspect this may got to do with the Lync Mobility services that I've deployed on my Front-End collocated with the Mediation role but no harm asking.

Experiecing some issues while attempting to make an outbound call from the Lync client to PSTN.

I've uploaded the log files for those who can see whether the problem can still be salvaged Skydrive

    Thanks a million.

  • Hi I can see a : 0x8007274d WSAECONNREFUSED Peer IP 10.0.0.1:5070, some problems to connect.

The connection will be refused form 10.0.0.1 Port 5070

Could you check your certificate, maybe a problem with new certificate.

  • Hi Holger,

Am using TCP communication at the PSTN interface (10.0.0.0/24) between the mediation and the media gateway. Just to the record, the Media Gateway is a AudioCodes MP-114 running on version 6.20A.022.003

I'm suspecting that the initial update to CU4 had caused problems and had updated to CU5. However, the problem persists.

In the midst of building another set of images to confirm whether is it a CU or AudioCodes firmware.

Anyway, thanks for affirming your findings :)

  • Do you by any chance have the symptoms as described in

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2675221

Where you are using multiple NICs on the FE server, what happens if you just use a single NIC do you see the issue

  • Hi Jimmy,

    Thank you for your feedback.

Apologized as I'm not clear with your suggestion. Based on the article, the symptom occurs when using Lync Mobility; however my problem happens on the PSTN and Lync Mobile seems to work well. I'd also update to the latest CU5 but the problem persists.

I'm in the midst of rebuilding another image without any updates nor enabling Lync mobility to observe the trace logs.

    Thanks.

  • Hello James,

Once you have the servers ready and issue still happens collect sipstack , mediationserver and s4 logs from FE  if collocated with mediation server

If mediation is seperate server collect s4 and mediationserver logs
