SCSM 2012: how to create template / workflow for incoming incident based on creation time RRS feed

  • Hello Gentlemen,

    We have three working shifts in my company, I need to create a three different incident templates / workflows for each shift based on the incident time.

    any ideas ?

  • In the SC2012_ServiceMgr_Authoring.docx is a description how to create a scheduled workflow (page 108).

    Enabling/Disabling of a workflow should be possible via PowerShell script -> Update-SCSMWorkflow

    Update-SCSMWorkflow

  • Regarding the workflows:

    Maybe it's an option to enable/disable the 3 different workflows by a scheduled workflow?

    Regarding the incident templates:

    What ate the requirements or scenarios you need?

  • Scheduled workflow can be build in the SCSM Authoring tool.
