Client "Find Site" assigning it to old site RRS feed

    For some reason, clients in our production site are, when clicking the Find Site button in the config manager client settings, assigning them selves to an old pilot site we set up to evaluate Config Manager. This site has since been shut down, but the clients are still seeing it.

    I verified that boundaries are set correctly in our production site (obviously the old test site is not even an option for the boundary group) and the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\Mobile Client\AssignedSiteCOde is set correctly.

    Any ideas what could be causing this?

    Could it be that the old site is still present in Active Directory under System\System Management ?
