  • Question

  • We have a VMware house at the moment but one of the premier concerns that i am being presented with is the annual SnS charge

There have been suggestions about moving to Hyper - V  but I would like to understand what the service and support annual costs are

    The new estate would have

    14 Hosts

    268 Virtual machines

Ball park figures year on year

  • Hi,

If your windows server OS is sitting on VMware, microsoft will not support because is there is a P2V for troubleshooting. Unless your OS is sitting on hyper V.

Meaning to say. You will have to migrate it yourself before microsoft is willing to troubleshoot.
