DPM 2010 Synchronization and next consistency check failures due to ID 30500 Unknown error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Can you help me understand what data related bitmap will help to find the cause of inconsistency as the bitmap is maintained in pagedpool and managed by dpmfilter?

    Behavior:

Synchronization job fails, next auto consistencycheck job fails - replica stays inconsistent until CC ran manually.

This issue reported multiple times in 1 week for 2 Protected Servers(File Servers). Verified that they were not rebooted, service wasn't stopped.

    DPM2010 Version 3.0.7696.0

    FileServer - 2008 R2 SP1

  • Hi

If the next CC runs does it clear the error?

Is their space available in the storage group to complete the backup?

  • As said, it did not clear the error in the next auto CC. But the next manual CC cleared it. A day later SYNC job ran into same problem again and it is repeating.

Yes there is plenty of space available in Storage Pool if that is what you meant by 'Storage Group'.
