ADR set to append, remove updates from target Software Update Group RRS feed

  • Question

  • This is weird guys. I have an ADR I have been using for a year, no problems, but here recently, when it runs, rather than appending to the existing software update group (my production append group), it removes updates from it. What in the world? It's never done this. Has anyone seen anything like this since the last CM current branch update?

  • There is no option to amend. The option is to use the same update group and the first thing that an ADR **always** does is remove all updates from an update group when set to use an existing one (unless there are no changes to the updates in the update group). You can clearly see this in the ruleengine.log during the initial stages of the ADR evaluation.
