How to modify the email list? RRS feed

  • Hi, guys.

    The environment it is installed Sharepoint 2007 SP2.
    Each time any user creates an item within the list, an email is sent to a mailbox.
    I need to change that mailbox. How do I edit this?How to modify the email list?

  • As Chris mentions, the best place to check is the User Alerts.  You'll need at least Admin rights to do this.

    You'll also want to check that there isn't a workflow attached to the list that generates additional email alerts.

  • Hi,

    For each list, you can configure the alert setting by go to "Actions" --> "Alert Me". You will see a section "Send Alert To". You can add the recipient as SharePoint user to the list.
