SCOM R2 Alert forwarding to CA ServiceDesk RRS feed

  • Question

  • Anyone currently forwarding SCOM R2 alerts to CA ServiceDesk?  or possibly using WSDL to send alerts via script since this is how we currently do it from MOM? if so, also would like to be able to append a queue name to the alert depending on what class the alert is from.

  • Hi,

You could maybe use the Universal Connector, http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee210411.aspx . Else there is a IP for CA ServiceDesk in Opalis so that would be a solution too. With OPalis you can also get a two-way connector. I have used Opalis for this kind of tasks before and it works fine.
