SCCM installation Error

Hi All,

I'm facing an issue while installing SCCM 2012,

Error : 1.Setup is unable to verify that the Server Service is started.

Server service is running verified by services.msc console.

Error 2. You cannot install the management point on a computer with an earlier version of the Configuration Manager client installed. Upgrade the client to the current version, remove the client, or select a different computer for the management point installation, and then try again.

Kindly in resolving.

I've seen that before but don't recall what I did to fix it. In this blog the guys says to uninstall the client

Hi,

Last time I had that error, I had to uninstall the client and run the following command to remove all traces of the client in WMI:

PowerShell, C:\Windows\system32> Invoke-Command {gwmi -query "SELECT * FROM __Namespace WHERE Name='CCM'" -Namespace "root" | Re move-WmiObject}
