User view settings in project center RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello all!

My question is very simple, but I don't find answer. In project server 2010 in project center user can modify view, filter or group by options. In my view which I create there is group by owner option. if user change this option to, for example, group by start, server save this. Question - how can I or user reset this view's options to default (to those in my view, i.e. owner)?

One of the features that the designers seem to have forgotten is a way to reset a view back to the default view after the user has customized it.  So, there is no default way to do this.  My understanding, based on replies of fellow MVPs in this forum, is that the Project Server administrator has to slightly customize the view in question, and then have every PM reapply that view.  That is way too much work in my opinion.  Therefore, I would recommend that you manually apply the original grouping.  Hope this helps.
