Azure AD Connect and "Users must change their Password on next login" RRS feed

  • I created 3 users on-premise and I set a temp password for them and checked "user must change their password on next login"

    After successful sync with Azure AD, users try to connect online to access their email from Portal Office 365 page. They input their account and temp password then it directs them to the next step and asks them to input a new password. After entering the new password that complies with password policy this error message appears:

    "Your organization doesn't allow you to update your password on this site. Please update it according to the method recommended by your organization, or ask your admin if you need help."

    I went back to Azure AD connect sign in options but couldn't figure out how to solve this issue... All I want for users to be able to input their passwords online for the first time and all future password resets and change will be from the admin's control.
