MIM 2016 How to join users on an incrementing table index? RRS feed

  • Question

  • So the issue is I am trying to join users using the index on the user table.  I have a Stored procedure that will add a user to the table if they do not exist and return there index.

Not sure how to set the returned value to either a DN or attribute, so they can be joined on later.  Maybe Im going about this the wrong way?

  • Jason-

Could you provide some additional detail on what you're doing here? Not sure I completely follow.

    Thanks,

  • I am trying to add users to a system via stored procedure.

The goal being to join users on the index of that table since it is the only unique value I have.  The issue I'm running into is I don't have the index a user is given until they are exported.  I believe that this is called Reverse Breadcrumbing?

Does that make a little more sense?

  • If the serial number field is your anchor, you can put a bogus value there with your provisioning code and when MIM Sync reads the value back it will see the new primary key.

    Thanks,
