SQL - third part app Cactus - unable to connect to required (system, public) table RRS feed

  • Visual Cactus application cannot connect to its database on MSSQL 2016. The Cactus diagnostics says “Public_Connection Table is missing or inaccessible”. It goes on to say “unable to connect to required public table".  It also repeats this error for the system table. 
    SystemInformation Table is missing or inaccessible
    Database related issue(s)
    Database connected version = 0, unable to connect to required public table
    1) MSSQL - reconcile VISUALCACTUS database user
    My question is what system and public tables is the message referring to?

    Final note: The ODBC connection from the Cactus server to the MSSQL server test successful.
