Daily timephased actual work incorrectly calculated from weekly timesheets RRS feed

  • We are using Project Server and Project 2016. We have changed under the Server Settings of the pwa the default timesheet tracking units (Timesheet Settings and Defaults) from days to weeks and the Reporting display to "Resources should report their total hours worked for a week". Our weeks start on Friday, we have set this up in our MSP clients, in the Enterprise Global template and in the pwa Server Settings - Task Settings and Display - Reporting Display (Week starts on).
    However when we open a project schedule in MSP client and check the reported actual manhours in a daily timephased view they are distributed only through Friday-Wednesday not Friday-Thursday. For Thursdays we only have planned hours, we do not have actual manhours. What could be the issue?
