  • In BGInfo click on "Custom" button underneath the default fields.

    Click New.

In the Identifier field - Type the name for your customer field - E.g. Full Name

    Select the WMI Query Option.

Click Browse button at the end of the Path field and set these options...

    WMI Class: Win32_NetworkLoginProfile

    Class Property: FullName

WMI Query: SELECT FullName FROM Win32_NetworkLoginProfile WHERE FullName is not NULL

    NOTE:

Use the WMI Class: Dropdown and the Class Property: Dropdown to select the required options which will automatically build your Query line.

The only text you will need to type into the Query field is...."WHERE FullName is not NULL"

  • according to this picture, this Windows PC has already multi user logon. Your WMI Query: SELECT FullName FROM Win32_NetworkLoginProfile WHERE FullName is not NULL

find all users information display on the desktop.

could you modify the code to show me only the current logon user. not all user.

    thank you.

  • i search the wmi class according to your example.

i find win32_account, win32_useraccount classes, but when i chose Caption, Description property, they take me such a long time to wait a result.

it seems the Bginfo freeze or stop respoding.

i find the doc on the https://docs.microsoft.com/zh-cn/windows/win32/cimwin32prov/win32-useraccount. it may be the answer.

  • I was attempting to do a similar thing with IP Address via WMI Query

SELECT IPAddress FROM Win32_NetworkAdapterConfiguration gives me the details I need but adds a whole heap of (null) returns.

When I add the WHERE IPAddress is not NULL I get a Query Failed response.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
