  • Hey,

You're at the wrong place. This is a SCOM forum :)

  • Hey,

I am afraid that your post is misplaced.  This is the System Center Operations Manager forum. You will have to post in the Windows 10 forum here:

Social Technet Windpows 10 IT Pro

or an admin can move it.

  • Hi Teodor,

By default, the Windows operating system adds special metadata to all files you download from the Internet to an NTFS drive, which it considers as attachments. Later, when you try to open or execute the downloaded file, Windows 10 prevents you from opening it directly and shows you a security warning that the file originated from somewhere else and can be insecure.

If you really would like to disable this feature, you can refer to this guide, but at this time, Defender will not protect your computer to avoid some potential unsecure issue properly.

  • Since the topic is “Windows Defender”, you might be seeing the “Your organization used Windows Defender Application Control to block this app” message, which is being reported quite frequently in the Virus and Malware forum. We’ve seen lots of solutions posted for this, but so far there’s no consensus about the cause or the cure:
