Truncated Error Messages

Question
-
When designing an SSIS package, a red icon with a white cross is displayed in the component if there is something wrong. If you point to this icon a message appears which is often truncated. Any ideas how to recover the whole message?
The "important bits" are not necessarily at the begining of the truncated message. Googled this for ages with no luck and it's not intuitively obvious what the answer is.

when the package is open, just go to View Menu and click on Error List then you will be able to see the error listed.

Hello,
Try to open advanced editor (rigth click in the component -> Show advanced editor) usually the error message will display in there.
