SCOM 2012 R2 Web service Monitoring RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I need to monitor Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) enabled Web services for availability in SCOM. Looks like this is not supported in web application transaction monitoring.

How can I monitor web service.

    thanks in advance

  • This is indeed possible but you need to ensure you post the correct SOAP envolope.

Here is an example we have running in production.

  • Hello,

My service provider got sold off and I did not think anyone was still using this article.

I am in the process of getting the content back up again.

That link should send you to the front page of opsmanfan.com.  Then just click on the link for a simple rest monitor. OR.....use the direct link https://y0y0dyn3.github.io/opsmanfan/simplerestmonitor/.
