Eliminate Query and Refresh Data prompt with Excel Services Pivot table RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a workbook hosted in Excel Services and displayed via a Performance Point Monitoring and Analytics part (Dashboard page). When rendering the part, a "Query and Refresh Data" prompt appears (the workbook contains a pivot table connected to an AS cube). I would like to have this dialog not show, as I have already allowed the connection to be trusted in the workbook. No prompt occurs when I open the workbook from the SharePoint report library. How can this message be bypassed when in M&A?

Answers

  • Solved: in Excel Services, Trusted File Locations, set the Warn on Refresh to False. Special thanks to the Excel Services team (Joe C) for the answer.

  • Hi,

I have that issue in SharePoint Online, connecting to an Excel Services file pulling Project Online data.

Is there a fix for this as well?

    Thanks,

    Pink
