  • Question

  • Is there a server setting required for users to be able to edit Percent work Complete in their Timesheet?   We are in single entry mode.

  • There are 3 default tracking methods

    1. % complete

    2. Actual work done and work remaining

    3. Actual work per period.

Selecting SEM selects 3. for you above.  Therefore MS chose to disable the ability to enter any % complete.  I agree, it doesn't necessarily need to be read only, but that was the decision taken.

No, this is not possible because of your use of Single Entry Mode.  Using SEM, every team member must enter progress on a daily basis in the Timesheet page of PWA.  If team members NEED to be able to enter progress in the % Work Complete field, then your organization should NOT be using Single Entry Mode, and this setting should be disabled.  This will then allow the Project Server administrator to change the default method of tracking progress to % Work Complete.  Hope this helps.
