Delivery Optimization with SCCM RRS feed

    Hi Everyone,

    Our SCCM environment is still running under 2012 R2 SP1 CU3, we are planning to do CB upgrade soon. Due to some hardware dependencies we are delaying the SCCM CB upgrade.

    Some business requirements, few clients are upgraded to widows 10 1607, Since our SCCM is not upgraded to 1606, we can't manage the upgrade through SCCM.

    So until we upgrade our SCCM, we decided to allow the windows 10 security and CU from internet, My question is can we use delivery optimization to those machine to download and share updates using peer to peer connection, its possible to do delivery optimization on windows 10 1607 SCCM client, If so, is there any procedure to implement it?

    Another question is , how to make the windows 10 1607 client to get only updates from internet and make them not to download Feature updates (Anniversary Updates), what kind of GPS's that we can create to achieve this? Enable / Disable Defer update will help?

    Your questions really have nothing to do with ConfigMgr and may be better suited in a Windows forum.

    Ultimately, yes, you can use Windows Update for Business and Windows 10 with use DO. For delaying Feature Updates, you use deferral policies, yes.
